Joon+Ahn+began+his+career+as+a+3D+architectural+artist+in+Korea%2C+before+coming+to+the+United+States+to+pursue+his+dream+of+becoming+a+concept+artist.+After+graduating+from+ArtCenter+with+a+Bachelor+of+Fine+Arts+in+Illustration%2C+Ahn+worked+for+such+major+clients+as+Lucasfilm+and+Disney.+Among+his+projects+was+Disney%E2%80%99s+animated+series+%22Tron%3A+Uprising.%22Ahnis+now+a+senior+concept+artist+in+the+video+gaming+industry%2C+working+at+Los+Angeles-based+Riot+Games+on+%22League+of+Legends%2C%22+an+online+team-oriented+battle+arena+game.+He+has+earned+an+enthusiastic+following+for+the+epic+scale+of+his+fantastical+imagery+and+his+use+of+light%2C+color+and+texture.+As+an+instructor%2C+Ahn+formerly+taught+courses+for+the+Computer+Graphics+Master+Academy%2C+an+online+digital+art+education+program.+He+currently+teaches+at+Brainstorm+School%2C+a+design+and+art+school+in+Burbank%2C+California%2C+with+a+focus+on+entertainment+design.

Joon Ahn
Rob+Clayton%2C+a+full-time+member+of+the+ArtCenter+faculty%2C+graduated+from+ArtCenter+with+honors.+In+his+new+body+of+solo+work%2C+Rob+explores+the+ideas+of+self-process+through+environmental+sculpture+and+painting.+Utilizing+skills+learned+over+the+past+20+years+of+teaching%2C+pushing+concepts+of+narrative+and%2For+illustration%2C+he+has+recently+started+to+explore+unconventional+means+of+fabrication+generated+in+a+true+DIY+spirit.+Previously%2C+Rob+and+his+brother%2C+Christian+Clayton%2C+collaborated+in+an+unconventional+practice+in+which+each+continuously+adapted%2C+transformed%2C+and+re-worked+mixed+media+pieces+that+the+other+had+created+separately.+The+resulting+rich+and+dynamic+work+was+filled+with+multiple+marks%2C+gestures+and+techniques%2C+symbols+and+metaphors+that+delved+into+memory+and+subconscious+while+engaged+with+the+culture+that+surrounded+them.+National+and+international+exhibitions+of+this+highly+personal+and+idiosyncratic+work+included+major+shows+in+China+and+Europe.

Rob Clayton
