With the field of interaction design expanding to meet growing demand across all industries, we have crafted a course of study in which students think deeply about the user’s experience, apply technology creatively and invent new approaches to interaction and design.

ArtCenter students are embedded with top professional designers with rich experience in a variety of disciplines—transportation, industrial and media design—giving graduates the foundation to lead as new technologies emerge. The Interaction Design department benefits from its proximity to Silicon Valley and Southern California's emerging Silicon Beach and brings top talent into the classroom to teach.
