HMCT Archetype Press welcomes Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr. as Printer-in-Residence from November 16–22.

Kennedy is a renowned printer and art book creator whose popular political and satirical work is held in the Library of Congress, Emory University, the Newberry Library, and the HMCT Archive collections. He is best recognized for his letterpress printed messages of social justice and Black power, emblazoned in rhythmically layered and boldly inked prints.

While in our letterpress studio, he will be printing Monday through Friday alongside students working in the Press.
