ArtCenter Extension

ArtCenter’s extension programs are a critical part of our educational mission and long-term future.

Since the beginning, ArtCenter has been dedicated to sparking inspiration in many ways. And, over the years, we have offered hundreds of non-degree courses taught by practicing artists and designers to a wide array of learners through our extended learning programs. These programs are most recently referred to as ACX, ACX Teens, ACX Kids, and even prior, known as ArtCenter at Night and Saturday High. There is a strong and proud legacy of alums who have attended all these programs.

ArtCenter remains dedicated to delivering a quality education in various forms and is in the process of reimagining the next iteration of our extended learning to meets the needs of today’s learners. While we are reconstructing these programs, we have temporarily paused ACX, ACX Teens and ACX Kids for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year. This pause will allow us time to enhance our future program offerings, and when we relaunch, we plan to offer new and innovative classes across a variety of art and design disciplines. Please join our mailing list if you’d like to be alerted when our new offerings come online.

This temporary pause of our extension programs will have no impact upon our world-class degree program offerings, which will continue to enroll students now and into the future.
