The Student Right-to-Know Act mandates that all institutions disclose their graduation rates of certificate- or degree-seeking, full-time students entering that institution, and to disclose these rates to all students and prospective students. One-year retention and six-year graduation rates are calculated for those new first-time freshman entering ArtCenter for the first time in the fall term of the cohort year noted in the corresponding tables.
Table 1 and Table 2 and the Income Based Graduation Rates reflect the numbers most commonly reported to outside agencies and comply with Right to Know requirements, which emphasize retention and graduation rates of traditional first-time freshmen. At ArtCenter, this is a small proportion of our entire population. We encourage you to see Tables 3-6 for information on all of our students.

The figures in Tables 3-6 are not commonly reported to outside agencies, but to provide details of all of our new entering students (new first-time freshmen and new transfers) entering in any term, as admission at ArtCenter occurs every term. These numbers are more comprehensive than the ones in Tables 1-2, for that reason.
