Jeffrey L. Glassman

Chairman, Covington Capital Management

Jeff Glassman joined Covington Capital Management in 2007 and has practiced law for over 30 years, specializing in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.  

Previously, Jeff served as Managing Director of Bingham Legg Advisers LLC, a joint venture created by the law firm Bingham McCutchen and investment manager Legg Mason. Prior to that, he was a principal at the law firm of Riordan & McKinzie for 18 years.  

Jeff graduated from UCLA with a BA in Political Science and received his JD, magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles.  

Jeff serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, Mark Hughes Foundation, Skirball Cultural Center, Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, ArtCenter College of Design, and Alzheimer’s Los Angeles.  Jeff for many years served on the Board of Directors of IFES, the Washington based NGO, which provides election assistance in emerging democracies around the world.
