Biography

Luke Miller began his career in UX with the Wall Street Journal in 2010 after grad school (Chapel Hill). In 2013, Luke moved on to help form the new Yahoo mobile product office in New York, primarily prototyping and researching for their various media properties. During that same time, he began teaching UX classes at General Assembly and Parsons. In 2015, General Assembly and Grand Central published his first book, The Practitioner's Guide to User Experience Design. Luke then left Yahoo for a full-time teaching position that would begin in NYC and end in Singapore. An opportunity to Direct UX Design for Nat Geo brought him back to the States.

Today, Miller lives and teaches in Los Angeles and works remotely for the National Geographic Society in Washington, DC.
