Andrew Kutchera's design experience ranges from identity and typography to print publications, user experience, and visual strategy. Kutchera previously served as senior lecturer of design at University of Southern California's Roski School of Art and Design, where he had been a faculty member for nearly 10 years. He consults on visual identities for businesses, museums, and public agencies.
In 2018, Kutchera was elected programming director of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA LA), where he produced high-profile events, solicited donations, and spear-headed relationships with new venues. Also in 2018, Kutchera won Second Place for his design of the catalogue Faces of A Fish Empire in the 2018 International Design Awards (IDA), a competition that drew more than 3,100 submissions from 95 countries.
Kutchera earned his BA in Art History and Spanish from Lawrence University and his MFA in Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts.
