Candice-Leigh Babb is a social researcher, design strategist and educator who engages social, cultural and historical perspectives to inform the ethics of research and making in design contexts. She serves as Director of ArtCenter’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), Co-chair of the Research Committee, and Advanced Member of ArtCenter's IRB. An award-winning researcher who has worked across consumer, automotive and nonprofit contexts, Candice-Leigh led the Research & Strategy group at Hauser prior to founding o2studio, a boutique design consultancy. She received concurrent master’s degrees in choral and orchestral conducting from the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, and a B.A. in vocal performance and conducting from UC Santa Cruz.
