Daniel Chang is a designer, illustrator and educator based in Los Angeles. His practice is in conversation with contemporary visual culture, activated through the tools and language of graphic design. This engagement has allowed him to construct a platform to accommodate varying modes of communication, which are manifested through illustrated images, designed artifacts, crafted objects and social interactions. Chang has worked with clients ranging from “The New York Times” and “Time” to Random House and Chronicle Books. His work has been published by “Communication Arts,” “American Illustration,” the Society of Illustrators and Taschen. In addition to his BFA from ArtCenter, he has an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design, an MA from Westminster Seminary California and a BA from the University of California, Irvine.
