Over the past decade, Aron Wiesenfeld’s artwork has been the subject of several solo exhibitions across the United States and Europe. His bewitching paintings, drawings and prints reflect his early work as a comic book illustrator and are infused with romantic and enigmatic imagery. His pieces have appeared in many publications—including “Juxtapoz,“ “Hi-Fructose,” “Art In America” and “The Huffington Post”—as well as in numerous museums around the world, including the Long Beach Museum of Art, Bakersfield Museum of Art and Italy’s Casa dell’Architettura. His paintings have been used on covers of several poetry books, most notably “The Other Sky,” a collaborative book project with poet Bruce Bond. In 2014, a large monograph of his work titled “The Well” was published by IDW Press. He was recently named one of the top 100 figurative painters by “Buzzfeed.”
