Tomoko Miho established a stellar reputation and long-lasting legacy designing corporate identities, posters, architectural signage and environmental graphics for corporations, museums and institutions supporting the arts and education. Her projects have included work for such prominent names as Herman Miller, Champion International, Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), the Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the Museum of Modern Art, and HarperCollins. Recognized worldwide, Miho’s work was exhibited in the Kyoto and Tokyo National Museums of Modern Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Among numerous prestigious awards, she received the AIGA Medal in 1993. Miho is featured in various books and annuals, and her posters can be found in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, Die Neue Sammlung in Munich and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
