Everett is a storyteller, designer, and failed musician residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. He assists emerging companies in developing their brand identities.
He currently serves as the brand design lead at Anthropic, an artificial intelligence safety research firm focused on aligning AI with human values and building safe AI infrastructure.
Before joining Anthropic, Everett was the Executive Producer at Stripe, where he helped build and expand their publishing efforts via Stripe Press, producing documentaries, podcasts, and books highlighting scientific, technological, and economic advances.
Earlier in his career, Everett was part of the original design team at Facebook (pre-Meta) where he created narratives conveying how the platform connected billions of people. He also co-founded the Facebook Analog Research Laboratory, a rogue group of designers challenging the company's conventions.
Additionally, Everett served as Pinterest's first Brand Creative Manager where he led a transdisciplinary creative team. Prior to the Bay Area, Everett was an exhibition designer at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. He is an alumnus of Art Center College of Design's graphic design program.
