What if we got space and time all wrong?

The project examines the dominance of cartographic street mapping in the way that we navigate and experience the world. As less and less travelers pilot their own cars, whether through automation, carpooling, transit, or active travel modes, pathfinding becomes less important as a way of understanding the world. The system proposes a new way of looking at the world, through time (travel time) and place information instead of geographic space and roads.
