Profiled in "I.D. Magazine’s" “I.D. 40” as one of 40 leading design innovators, Roshi Givechi is a partner at IDEO and managing director at IDEO New York. With an appreciation for craft and culture, Givechi shifts her role every few years between the two. Recently she’s focused on amplifying the studio, cultivating a hub where designers, clients and IDEO’s creative network inspire and challenge each other to make a difference in the world. A communication designer inspired by choreography, Givechi loves dissecting the many parts that come together to make a greater whole—designing cities, services and stories. Before New York, she spent a nomadic year as a design director, working across IDEO’s studios in Asia. Her roots at IDEO began in California in 1998, where she worked with clients from the Kauffman Foundation to NASA. Post ArtCenter, Givechi designed sites for Microsoft, including MSNBC’s first 24-hour website.
