In the newly created position of chief design officer at Under Armour, Dave Dombrow, based at the company’s global headquarters in Baltimore, oversees all design and creative strategy for the sports gear giant’s full line of footwear, apparel and accessories. Previously serving as Under Armour’s senior vice president of creative footwear and accessories, Dombrow has been lauded for his visionary commitment to innovative design. His groundbreaking work includes the co-creation of the UA SpeedForm Apollo shoe, which features a 4D foam sock liner that conforms to the shape of each wearer’s foot shape; and the Curry One, Golden State Warriors basketball great Stephen Curry's first signature shoe. Prior to joining Under Armor, Dombrow had accrued more than 16 years of industry experience, holding various design positions at GBMI, and serving as a member of Nike’s Footwear Design team and as footwear design director for Puma.
