Daniel Ashcraft is the chief executive officer and chief design officer of Ashcraft Design, which he founded in 1986. The designer of JBL’s critically acclaimed Project Everest loudspeaker, he consults on consumer product design and brand innovation for a range of internationally recognized brands that include Harman Kardon, Seagate, Vizio, Knoll, Nike and Xerox. Recognized for his unique contribution to design, Ashcraft is the recipient of the Industrial Designers Society of America’s International Design Excellence Award, Japan’s Good Design Award, Germany’s Red Dot Award, CES Innovation Award and iF Design Award and awards from "Communication Arts" and the Art Directors Club of New York. A graduate of ArtCenter with great distinction, Ashcraft has also been an instructor there and lectured at the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, encouraging students to use design to solve the challenges facing business and society.
