Called a visionary by "Time" and “the most influential industrial designer in the world” by Forbes, Yves Béhar is founder and chief designer of Fuseproject, chief creative officer of Jawbone and co-founder of August. For 20 years, he has pioneered design for social and environmental change. His humanitarian work includes One Laptop per Child and See Better to Learn Better, for which he received two Index: Awards. His collaborations with partners such as Herman Miller, Puma, Issey Miyake, Prada, SodaStream, Samsung and Swarovski have received international acclaim. Béhar’s work is in permanent museum collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Centre Pompidou and the Art Institute of Chicago. He has given talks at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland and the Clinton Global Initiative. Among his 300-plus awards are Design Miami’s Design Visionary Award and Design Museum’s Design of the Year.
