BS 01 Product Design

Product designer and entrepreneur Joel Bell is known for clean, innovative work. With a design roster that includes Callaway, Diamondback Fitness and Disney, he has a passion for taking an idea from conception to completion and developing cutting-edge products with a graphic aesthetic. The principal of Joel Bell Industrial Design, which he founded in 2003, he has designed a wide range of products, including sports equipment, children’s products and home furnishings. His design pursuits have led him to cultivate his voice in the fashion world. As co-owner of a high- end fashion accessories line, Onna Ehrlich, Bell contributes to the overall branding of the company and has designed many of the line’s most popular bags. As an instructor of design at Pasadena City College and Otis College of Art and Design, Bell is giving back to the art community by passing along his invaluable art education to the next generation.
