Bart Forbes’ career as an illustrator and painter spans 40-plus years and led to a career in fine art. His illustration clients include "Time" and "Sports Illustrated," and he has designed more than 20 commemorative postage stamps for the U.S. Postal Service. Forbes’ corporate clients include NBC, Exxon, General Electric, Pepsi-Cola, ABC and ESPN. Known for his work in the world of sports, he has created paintings for the PGA Tour, National Football League, Kentucky Derby, Indianapolis 500 and the U.S. Olympic Committee. In 1988, Forbes was selected as the official artist for the Olympic Games in Seoul. His work has earned over 60 awards of excellence from the New York Society of Illustrators. Forbes’ paintings hang in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Smithsonian Institute, Churchill Downs, and stadiums and offices of the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.
