Jeff Soto is a painter, illustrator and muralist who has exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. When he was 13, he simultaneously discovered traditional painting and illegal graffiti—and ever since, both worlds have informed his work. The artist’s distinct color palette, subject matter and technique resonate with a growing audience and bridge the gap between pop surrealism and street art. Inspired by youthful nostalgia, nature and popular culture, his bold, representational work is accessible and stimulating. His work in illustration and fine art was recognized in “American Illustration,” “Communication Arts,” “Juxtapoz,” “Hi-Fructose” and many others. His vast client list includes such notables as Disney, Converse, Sony, Playboy and United Airlines. Soto’s fine art career includes 12 solo exhibits in the United States and Europe and mural projects all over the U.S. and in France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and England.
