Clement Mok is a designer, digital pioneer, serial entrepreneur, software publisher/developer, author, design patent holder and restauranteur. A former creative director at Apple in the early ‘80s, Mok founded multiple successful design-related businesses: Studio Archetype, CMCD and NetObjects. He was chief creative officer of Sapient and national president of AIGA; currently he is a founding and active partner of Sugarfish, KazuNori, Nozawa Bar, HiHo! Burgers and Lasting Learning. He also mentors startups in design planning, branding, service designs and user experience projects. Mok, a 2008 AIGA medalist and 2013 AIGA SF fellow, advocates for design and technology practices; his contributions have been recognized by professional organizations and publications as well as hundreds of awards. A former ArtCenter trustee, Mok was listed on both I.D.’s 40 Most Influential Designers and Chief Executive’s 1998 Tech 100 CEOs. He serves on the advisory boards of numerous technology companies, colleges and nonprofit organizations.
