New-media performance artist Tiffany Trenda’s installations explore the relationship between the human body, particularly the female body, and technology. Interchanging her identity with screens, she shows how devices have become an integral part of our daily lives, almost a second skin, altering the way we form memories and interact with the outside world. Trenda has received numerous awards and recognitions, including winning Artist of the Year at the London International Creative Competition Awards. Her work has been seen around the world—from the Italian Cultural Institute to the Art Miami Context, where she graced the cover of the "Miami Herald" for Art Basel 2012. In 2016, Trenda performed at The Broad Art Museum in Los Angeles and exhibited at the Faena Art Center in Buenos Aires for the highly publicized show, "Auto Body."
