Born in Tehran, Saman Kesh grew up in California where he developed an early interest in filmmaking, launching his music video career while still a student at ArtCenter with Cinnamon Chasers’ viral hit "Luv Delux," winner of the Best Music Video award at the 2010 SXSW Conference. Other titles include Kygo’s "Stole the Show" and alt-band Placebo’s "Too Many Friends" in collaboration with author Bret Easton Ellis. Among Kesh’s commercial clients are Visa and Taco Bell; the latter ran an ad he directed during the 2016 Super Bowl. Upcoming directorial film projects are "Cubed" for Lionsgate, a re-imagining of the 1997 sci-fi horror film "Cube;" and for 21st Century Fox, a full-length version of his 2013 film "Controller," an eight-minute short that first brought Kesh to the attention of studios. His latest project is "HIT TV," a short murder-for-hire thriller with a dark technological twist.
