Through her intention to weave narratives into a complete spatial experience, Los Angeles-based Susyn Herridge, a senior spatial designer at Cory Grosser Design + Strategy, seeks through research, insight and reinterpretation to design compelling, immersive and interruptive encounters that inspire others to think differently. She is developing a career in architecture, leading projects from concept to completion. Her designs, focused on experiential marketing, are tailored to a client list that includes Disney, Hyundai, Universal Studios, Edith A. Miller, the Los Angeles Public Library, Red Devil and Supply Frame Inc. Her projects include the L.A. Public Library-funded “Student Zones” for afterschool study, with design and branding, including architectural elements, environmental graphics and furniture, placed in 10 pilot branches. Herridge was also part of an immersive sponsored studio for Bikini Berlin, tasked as a retail concept designer to investigate, research and experience Berlin, Germany, through the medium of fashion.
