Stefan G. Bucher is the artist behind 344 Design and Daily Monster, which spawned a book and the popular "Monster Maker" iPad app. The author of five other books, including the best-selling 344 Questions, Bucher has designed and illustrated for David Hockney, Judd Apatow and "The New York Times." His design credit appears on the "Matrix" soundtrack and albums by Sting and Whitney Houston; he designed the titles for Tarsem Singh’s "The Fall," "Immortals" and "Mirror Mirror;"and his time-lapse drawings appeared on the Emmy-winning TV show "The Electric Company." He designed the Blue Man Theater in Las Vegas and gave life to the Saks Fifth Avenue Yeti. An ADC Young Gun, he won a D&AD Yellow Pencil for book design. In 2015, Bucher mounted a retrospective of his work, "Everything Is Going Exactly as Planned," encompassing a “speculative timeline” extending 60 years into the future, 1985–2075.
