Louis Danziger has worked as a designer, art director and consultant for such diverse institutions as Microsoft, the NEA, ARCO and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). He is the recipient of a Pacific Design Center Lifetime Achievement Award (1997), the NEA Distinguished Designer Fellowship (1985) and an American Institute of Graphic Arts Medal (1998). His designs have been part of countless major graphic design and advertising exhibitions in the U.S. and around the globe. LACMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Library of Congress include his work in their permanent collections. Danziger has held faculty positions with ArtCenter, the California Institute of the Arts, Harvard University and schools abroad. As a visiting lecturer and workshop director, he has worked with such noted institutions as Yale University, Rhode Island School of Design, the MIT Visible Language Workshop, and Tokyo Communication Arts in Japan.
