Named by "Advertising Age" as one of the “100 Best and Brightest,” Gary Goldsmith began his career at DDB in New York in 1981, beginning more than three decades as a top creative at such firms as Chiat/Day, Young & Rubicam and Goldsmith/Jeffrey, which he co-founded. Goldsmith has worked on campaigns for Volkswagen, IBM, Polaroid, Hershey, Christian Dior, Everlast, J.P. Morgan, ESPN, El Al Israel Airlines, Barneys New York, Mercedes-Benz, Sony, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Saab and Macy’s. His work, part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, has been honored by Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Clios, New York Art Directors Club, Andys, "Communication Arts," Graphis, the New York Film Festival, the London International Film Festival and D&AD. Goldsmith is chair of the undergraduate Advertising Department at ArtCenter; co-founder of Underhead, a virtual advertising network; and founder of Yourchitect, a website about architecture and home design.
