As vice president of strategic design for BCG Digital Venture, Kevin Bethune leads multidisciplinary teams in North America in the establishment of innovative, human-centered and visionary design thinking as an integral part of digital and physical production development within the fabric of Fortune 100 companies. A BCGDV founding team member, Bethune was a principal in its forerunner: Booz Digital, a digital innovation boutique helping Fortune 500 clients incubate new ventures in the areas of health care, retail, consumer products and other industries. It was a desire for a solid grounding in design fundamentals that brought multifaceted Bethune—Notre Dame University and Carnegie Mellon Business School grad, former nuclear power industry engineer, and Nike business analyst-turned-shoe designer—to ArtCenter, where he found expression for his curiosity about the intersecting dynamics of technology, business, and design; and his belief in the forward-thinking benefits of creative risks and provocative re-imaginings.
