Systems, Cities & Sustainable Mobility
a Great Success
Art Center thanks all who were a part of the 2008 Summit, Systems, Cities & Sustainable Mobility. The event was a huge success, featuring a variety of inspiring speakers, motivating mVIP break-out sessions and valuable new collaborations forged among our partners and colleagues.
Art Center has made a long-term commitment to sustainability a key part of our educational mission. Our goal is for Art Center to become the place to find creative talent with a strong background and passion for developing sustainable solutions. We are using the outcome from the Summits, along with feedback from thought leaders and Summit attendees, to craft a long-term educational plan centered on issues of sustainability.
The size and scope of the environmental and sustainability issues confronting us today warrant long and concerted study, consideration and debate. From the collective wisdom of the speakers on stage and participants in the audience, we intend to create a set of design guidelines, currently titled Pasadena Principles of Sustainable Mobility. We hope you will participate in the next three Summits.
We Want to Hear From You
We invite Summit attendees to share thoughts and ideas with us via the 2008 Summit Participant Contributions and Ideas form. We greatly appreciate your comments and ideas as we begin planning the 2009 Summit.
